"I thought you may like to know that for the stars I used the autoshape feature in Word and used them as my template. The large star was made large enough to fit on an A4 transparency. For the stitched heart, I then converted the outline to dots and, once printed, I pierced every second hole and used that as my piercing guide for the stitching."
Well done ladies - you've both done a fantastic job with your entries and good luck in the competition.
For the rest of you - come on - take a read through the Scrappit Blog, find the 5 requirements that Penny listed for this month's competition and get your entry in for the chance to win a shopping voucher with Scrappit!

To use texture overlays in Photoshop elements -
1. Open your photo or image you want to texturise and the selected texture.
2. Drag the texture image over the photo. The texture file will hide the photo.
3. In your layers panel, click on the drop down effects tab (default is normal) and select overlay.
4. Play with the opacity settings to adjust the texture to your preferences. I tend to set mine at 80% but erase the face section with heavily textured images.
BTW Try choosing other effect as well as the overlay setting, each will give you a completely different feel to the texture!!
Until next time,
Shirley
